Kate Jacob
Practice owner, Veterinarian

Preventative care, with special interests in opthalmology, soft tissue surgery, dermatology and internal medicine.
Kate graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, Kate has been working in our clinic since 2008. She grew up outside of Valley Center and is very thrilled to be able to provide top notch veterinary care for all of our clients and their animals. She became the owner of the clinic in 2021.
Kate has 3 beyond spoiled dachshunds, a corgi-mix and a horse. She says if she had any more dogs, she would either need to buy a bigger bed, or learn to sleep on the floor.
Sarah Pratt, DVM
Part-time Associate Veterinarian

Preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, with a special interest in Emergency Medicine.
Sarah opened the Sedgwick Veterinary Clinic in 1981. She has spent many years providing the best quality veterinary care to all of our clients. Lately, she has stepped back to a part-time position, but still comes in to see cases every week.
Sarah's home is ruled by her Most Royal Highness, Princess Lotus, who is the most beautiful Siamese cat in the world (or so she thinks!)
Erin Hiskett, DVM
Part-time Associate Veterinarian
Specialties:
Preventative care with special interests in dermatology, internal medicine and emergency care.
Erin graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She works every other weekend and helps fill in on week days when needed. We are very pleased to have her on staff at the clinic.
Erin has a cat named Chuck, a dog named Mackenzie, and a not-so-tiny Clydesdale gelding named Gregor to keep her busy in her off hours.
Dee Ekstrom
Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant
Dee has been with the practice from almost the beginning. She helps keep the doors open and things running smoothly. She lives in the town of Sedgwick with her husband, together, they raised 2 children, who are both making their mother very proud. She has a black lab named Maggie, and the 2 most spoiled hunting dogs in the world.
Allison
Veterinary Assistant/Customer Care Specialist
Allison Davis has been with the clinic since 2017 as our customer care specialist. She lives in Sedgwick with her 2 fur-babies Pita, an energectic lab/aussie mix and Jhope, an ornery little long haired feline. Allison is currently going to Hutchinson Community College and hopes to one day become fluent in ASL (American sign language) in order to become a translator for the deaf/ hard of hearing community.
